Great way to spend a couple of hours. - Very cool museum. Lots of military memorabilia, tanks , weapons even a Britten Norman restored Islander aircraft.
The people at this museum are very passionate we were given... read more amazing information on weapons etc by 'Ernie' he made our experience very enjoyable, his knowledge absolutely
unreal he told us facts about guns etc we would never have known. We were able to hold and pose with weapons something my children thoroughly enjoyed and for small donation of £1 each was able to sit in a tank. A fellow gentleman who was also there who actually owned several of the tanks also allowed the children to get in several other tanks he kindly gave the kids some 'spent' shell casings they were absolutely thrilled.
There is also a gift shop and small tea room which does hot and cold food. We had the basket meals chicken bites and chips and sausage and chips. Very nice.
Definitely worth a visit. Leave a donation or buy something to support this lovely museum
