Exhibits

Here are a small selection of our exhibits. Come and see them for yourself, there is so much more to discover.

Come and see our extended range of examples of life in World War 2. A vast selection of memorabilia from the war years housed in our replica street scene.

Uniforms and weapons, small and large vehicles, from a French ambulance to a mighty Scammell recovery truck, including WW2 vehicles. Small and very large guns, WW1 and WW2 heritage and memorabilia, this is a museum that brings together items and, most importantly, people from all walks of life and backgrounds. It also commemorates the service given and the sacrifices made. Read about the Men of Freshwater gallantly fighting in Iraq during World War 1 and see the evidence with your own eyes of what happened to their Howitzers.

The format is interactive and there are usually knowledgeable volunteers on hand to explain, demonstrate and bring to life the exhibits. Rides are available see our visiting us page. We also have a 40ft air rifle shooting range for your participation. Extra charges apply for the range and vehicle rides.
